J. Angerbauer-Goldhoff

Johannes Angerbauer-Goldhoff studied metal sculpture and sculpture at the University of Art in Linz. From 1989 he began his work on the concept of gold, which he expanded to the term „social gold.“


Johannes Angerbauer-Goldhoff was awarded the golden Medal of Honour by the Künstlerhaus Vienna. He won first prize in the art competition „Hommage to the Margaret Window“ in the collegiate church of Adagger, as well as in the Art in Construction competition for the 4+ administration center in Oberndorf near Schwanenstadt. He also received the Caesar advertising prize for „Social Gold Vodka.“

Angerbauer-Goldhoff can show numerous exhibitions, actions and projects at home and abroad, such as the exhibition of his three-part floor gold installation and wall objects at GOLD in the Lower Belvedere in Vienna in 2012 and at the Life Ball in the Vienna City Hall in 2015.
